MAGA: "We are not a democracy, we are a republic"....
... however. If the demagogue doesn't get it's way within the framework of that republic, he will still appeal to the mob:
And this isn't the first time either...
This is a similair thing Julius Caesar did, when he didn't get what he wanted inside the republican framework. He went outside, talked and aroused the crowd with emotions trying to invoke a direct responds of the mob instead of going through the channels that the Roman republic had set up. His actions, ended the republic in favor of a dictatorial regime.
... All those "republicans", that hold the word republic in high regards, should really explain to me, what "civic virtues" (a key component in a republic) Donald Trump embraces.

@HobNoblin No one would complain, if he would go through the proper channels. Both Biden and Obama removes people from the US soil, the diffrence is that they went through the proper channels.
@HobNoblin Because our government should be bound by the laws of the land in how it operates. Even when said operation is one of its responsibilities.
Trump has also removed legal immigrants and because they are working outside of their authority these 'mistakes' are not being found until it is too late. That is why a court in the country should want to put it under review.
Additionally, if you don't get them for abuse of power when it is this blatant, what is the next abuse of power going to look like?
@ViciDraco I don't see any abuse of power. I don't want "immigrants" either. The more we get out the better. These judges are obvious operatives not judges. Maybe Trump should take a page out of the lefts book. Find some disgusting junky to blame for shooting and robbing a communist "judge". He shot the judge, we found him hiding in a garage a shack etc. Police had to shoot him, such a tragedy. Commie judge has a grand funeral, Trump says a few words, whole thing is forgotten.
@HobNoblin You don't see any abuse, because you don't look into it... because you flat out agree. You are one of those people that are totally okay with: "all means nescessary" to reach your goal. However, that's now how the game was set up. Just picking out the best streets in monopoly out of the bank and laying them in front of you because you like to have them, is not going to be acceptible for those that are mature enough to accept the rules of the game.
@ViciDraco But why stop at removals? What about those deemed inadmissible under 8 U.S. Code Sec. 1182, who are barred from even entering the country without any hearing whatsoever, just an executive determination that they do not meet the criteria for entry into the U.S.?
For example, under 8 U.S. Code Sec. 1225(c) it states that inadmissible aliens can be immediately removed: “If an immigration officer or an immigration judge suspects that an arriving alien may be inadmissible under subparagraph (A) (other than clause (ii)), (B), or (C) of section 1182(a)(3) of this title, the officer or judge shall—(A)order the alien removed, subject to review under paragraph (2); (B)report the order of removal to the Attorney General; and (C)not conduct any further inquiry or hearing until ordered by the Attorney General.”
And 8 U.S. Code Sec. 1225(c) provides the Attorney General can remove the alien without a hearing: “The Attorney General shall review orders issued … If the Attorney General… is satisfied on the basis of confidential information that the alien is inadmissible under subparagraph (A) (other than clause (ii)), (B), or (C) of section 1182(a)(3) of this title, and … after consulting with appropriate security agencies of the United States Government, concludes that disclosure of the information would be prejudicial to the public interest, safety, or security, the Attorney General may order the alien removed without further inquiry or hearing by an immigration judge.”
In sum, all that is necessary is that the Attorney General make the determination that the alien is inadmissible under security related grounds, similar to the President’s determination that there is an invasion and that there are invaders to be removed. These are solely executive branch determinations.
@BigGuy2 Man, you don't even know your own history.
BTW, please explain to me, why those elephant people (the so called "party of Lincoln") were trying to save the confederate flag and confederate monuments?
