There is a great example of why a vote needs to be earned. Base it in intelligence, service to the community. Not Wealth and not a free for all.😷

"And those who claim no respsponsibility for the state of the nation, when for the past 30 years they have been willing to soak up all the profits derived at thew expense of other nations poor. And dont call it history when Apple are involved in exploiting labor in China today.. The blame will be worn with the pain that is coming.."

@Thinkerbell I dont confuse the Dow Jones with the state of the nation. It used to bear some relationship. But day trading and short selling have now distorted it so that it has no meaning at all. I get that most people like simple grabs of information that explain everything. But some relationships are just complex and there isnt much to be done..
If you want to pull something out of it that that does shine a light, look at the price of gold. Then look at the P/E ratio of blue chip shares. Every report is breaking records for how long you have to hold a share to earch its cost in dividends. Both of these factors point to people not trusting the $US to keep its value..But thats just one point.
You really need to dig into the import/export imbalance, the budget deficit and the international/overseas debt to arrive at the conclusion that the economic state of the nation is "merde" I have my own thoughts on other facets of US society. But I limit my comments as much as possible to finance..😷

They are human beings and they have a perspective that differs from yours.

@BiasForAction Certainly. I simply draw the line at trump. Not a shred of worth or common decency does this convicted felon have.

@BiasForAction statism is a binary cult. What an awful post, not human because you have a different opinion/vote for a different political party. Are these people even real? I havent encountered one real person who speaks like this
More, imo, like the very basest part of humanity. There's greed, selfishness and hostility, but whatever social traits they have are crippled.

@MistyCee I agree with you and I blame the society that emerged in the seventies for this not being just a malcontented few..😷

They don't rise to the level of human beings.
It's not their fault that they believed the turd pie they were sold might be tasty - after all, the ads reported that it was tasty.

These are people of the Ohio...
But only in Ohio are immigrants eating the cats and the dogs.
