@sunsporter1649 The man was denied due process. Read the 5th Amendment.

The Fifth Amendment says that no person shall be deprived of "life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."

This man's due process rights were violated. That's a crime; no ifs ands or buts.

@ElwoodBlues But they failed to note that the judge who ruled in his case in 2019 did say he could be deported, just to somewhere besides El Salvador.
@sunsporter1649 Due process applies to EVERY interaction with agents of the law. Not just the first interaction; EVERY interaction.

@ElwoodBlues Like Elián González got?
@sunsporter1649 He got due process; it was in the courts for a long period of time; don't you remember? You didn't like the outcome, but he got due process.

Was that back in the days when you loved immigrants from Cuba and would grant them asylum at the drop of a hat???

P.S. any more whataboutism on the menu tonight??
