Why do trump supporters think they will soon have this extra money in their pockets?

There is talk of tariffs. So it seems some trump supporters think that eventually all this money will come back to America and somehow we will all be richer.

Like at first things will hurt but then get better.

Do they not realize that if America does see this magic boost of money, the rich are going to keep it for themselves?

Imagine this family at the dinner table having this feast, and there is the pitiful doggy staring at everyone eating, hoping that maybe morsel will somehow fall in his direction.

The family is - Musk, Trump, CEOs, and shareholders. The pitiful doggy is - hopeful trump supporters.
The doggy thinks, "Everyone is eating so good, when will I get mine?" Then someone says, "GO AWAY!" 🐶

I hate to tell you but any extra profits are not going to "trickle down".
I know that good ol trump, the same guy who in 2015, said he would build some wall, made it sound like that but nOoOoOo...

Somebody will ask for sources. Well, just common sense. My gut feeling.

I just would like to know where trump supporters get this wild idea that the rich class is going to share the wealth?

Everyone take a deep calming breath and repeat after me.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

There! Better?
@GerOttman I think this litany is more appropriate:
I am a Tяump follower.
I must not apply logic.
I must not look at historical parallels.
I must not attend to professional economists.
I must believe in Tяump and Tяump only.
Tяump is my cultleader, I shall not use common sense.

There! Better?

@GerOttman The irony that someone that votes for an autocrat, quotes Dune is beyond you. Just like it's beyond you, that your will to vote for the Libertarian party next time is highly ironical. It's amazing that someone can have so many conflicting ideas in their head and not end up in psych ward, that points to the level of density people need to deal with when they talk to you.

@ElwoodBlues Shouldn't you be out vandalizing teslas or something?

@Kwek00 Speaking of psych wards...

@GerOttman Speaking of psych wards, tRumpsters voted for this drag queen as VEEP!!!

Now, getting back to the subject at hand, logic, history, and the study of economics all show how widespread tariffs make the economy worse. Labeling the application of logic, history, and the study of economics as "fear" is just your attempt at deflection.

@ElwoodBlues Yeahhhhh.... that's "exactly" the sane! Deflection..deflection..deflection
@GerOttman What on EARTH makes you believe – contrary to history and the study of economics – that Tяump's tariffs will improve our economy? Where's your evidence?? Or are you an adherent of faith-based economics???

@ElwoodBlues He's a libertarian, that quotes Dune but votes for Trump... that says it all. 🤯

@Kwek00 What makes you think I'm a witch?
