Why is setting a tesla alight domestic terrorism, but shooting up a school not?

Serious question. Is it because a school shooting does not have a political agenda? What about Jan 6th? Is it not terrorism because the goal was to overthrow the electoral process by force and not to simply strike fear in a population?

I have no problem with calling a person who bombs a tesla dealer a domestic terrorist, so long as the Jan 6th folks be labeled as insurrectionists.

Yes, it's about the motivation. If a person went on a shooting spree in order to change political policy, that person would be considered a terrorist. But usually, school shootings are apolitical.

But it wasn't an insurrection according to the FBI's investigation.
Why do democrats love burning things anyway?

@AthrillatheHunt that’s the point if my question, if they arent than why not?
The cars and guns are a conservative political choice, they're important to making people callous and cruel. The media injects them for you.
