Jasmine Crockett Claims Entering America Illegally is ‘Not a Crime’

Democrat firebrand Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has once again sparked controversy after incorrectly stating on MSNBC that entering the United States illegally is not a crime, despite federal law clearly defining it as a criminal offense.

During an appearance on MSNBC with host Katie Phang, Crockett made the disputed claim, stating, “It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally… it’s not a crime.”

She further suggested that Republican officials want local law enforcement to “round up people when they could be looking out for the murderers and the sex abusers.”

Crockett also directed criticism at President Donald Trump, saying, “Don’t give me this fake outrage about criminals roaming our streets when you guys stand ten toes down for the biggest criminal we have ever seen go into the White House.”

Under federal law, unauthorized entry into the United States is indeed classified as a criminal offense because it is punishable by imprisonment.

Individuals who enter the country unlawfully can face both criminal and civil penalties under current immigration laws.

Resist the Mainstream reported that Crockett issued a scathing rebuke against Trump last week, claiming he is an “enemy” of the U.S. “As far as I am concerned, he is an enemy to the United States,” she said during an interview with MSNBC.

“He swore an oath just like the rest of us, but right now, when you are literally putting us at risk because you want to convince your followers that you should be a dictator too, that you should never leave the White House? Because you don’t believe that elections should take place? I don’t really understand what is going on, and I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to wake up,” she claimed.

Gee, the kung flu acts just like the common cold or the flu, whouda guessed

The numbers say something very very different, sunstroke.

Here in the table are US death numbers for the top ten causes of death for six years ending in 2020. Notice how there are 20% more deaths in 2020 than the average of the previous five years? Doing the math, that's 500,000 excess deaths in 2020.

Notice how, in 2020, 345,000 of those 500,000 excess deaths are classified as Covid? Notice how almost all causes of death rose in 2020, including cancer & heart disease?

If there's any validity to the claim that lots of deaths have been mis-classified as Covid, why did almost all causes of death increase in 2020? Wouldn't mis-classification produce a reduction in those other causes? The evidence says mis-classification is a red herring.

@sunsporter1649 So you're admitting you were wrong when you said
Gee, the kung flu acts just like the common cold or the flu, whouda guessed
Good to know you are admitting your fallacy.

Yup, shoving kung flu infected folks into eldery care facitlities had nothing to do with it, right?
Is that what they did in Florida? Because Florida ended up with a higher per capita Covid death rate than New York.
