DEI must die: All federal employees need to explain their work immediately — or be fired!

Government employees will have to share what they’ve been working on in the last week or face dismissal, Elon Musk said Saturday.

The President signed an executive order last Tuesday for agencies to work with DOGE to make “preparations to initiate large-scale reductions in force.”

More firings are on the way: The Pentagon announced Friday its plans to fire 5,400 employees, and other agencies have also indicated they’re continuing to look for cuts.

A scorched-earth policy is a military strategy of destroying everything that allows an enemy military force to be able to fight a war, including the deprivation and destruction of water, food, humans, animals, plants and any kind of tools and infrastructure. The woke must go.

@sree251 says
Federal employees under scrutiny by Doge are not doing research.
DEAD WRONG.
Bird flu researchers were fired; now tRump is trying to hire them back.
The USDA fired staffers working on bird flu. Now it's trying to reverse course
... Within days, however, the agency sought to reverse some of those firings — particularly those related to its handling of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI).

@Reason10 whines
Excuse me? DemoNazis CREATED THE POOR.
There were no US poor people until the 1960s????
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT

most of it from the WELFARE STATE.
The budget of the US dept of Agriculture is $200 billion per year – there's a TON of welfare for agribusiness there. The 2023 US Defense budget was $916 billion – welfare for defense contractors. And their stockholders. $916 billion is more than the next NINE countries' defense budgets combined.

tRump''s Covid era welfare was 10.2 million Paycheck Protection Program loans that were forgiven or partially forgiven. With average forgiveness $72,000, that works out to $734 billion in loan forgiveness welfare to business owners.

If we're a welfare state, @Reason10, the welfare is going to big business and their stockholders.

And what about welfare for citizens??

In 2023, the federal government spent $1.35 trillion on Social Security, which was 22% of the total federal budget. That's money people paid in over their working lives and are now withdrawing. Medicare, $848 billion in 2023, is another program where people paid in over their working lives.

Thus, the largest part of the budget is non-discretionary spending; driven by payroll deductions, NOT income tax.

As of 2023, SNAP spending was $112.8 billion; TANF's block grant stands at a fixed $16.5 billion per year. The total federal budget in 2023 was $6.2 trillion. So aid to the poor - what @Reason10 considers welfare - amounts to 2.1% of the total federal budget.

And of course this discussion wouldn't be complete without a note about where the money comes FROM. Taxes are roughly proportional to GDP. And the vast majority of our GDP comes from BLUE AREAS.

@ElwoodBlues Why are you people making a fuss and protesting the US Government doing its job to cut waste and improve efficiency? If it screws up, Congress can take necessary action. You need to sit back and relax.

@sree251 ”Now, what is the left’s worldview in general? What is it? If you had to attach not a philosophy but an attitude to a
leftist worldview, it’s one of pessimism and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they? They’re always angry about
something. No matter what they get, they’re always angry.”

The left's worldview is that of a disgruntled teenager's. They are miserable dogs that bite hands that feed them.
