Federal Judge rules against DemoKKKrat effort to block DOGE access

Judge denies Democrat-led effort to block DOGE access, citing lack of proven harm

A federal judge on Tuesday declined to block Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency from accessing government data or firing federal employees.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan declined to grant the plaintiffs' request to issue a temporary restraining order, citing what she said was their failure to demonstrate evidence of "irreparable harm" caused by DOGE's access.

"Plaintiffs legitimately call into question what appears to be the unchecked authority of an unelected individual and an entity that was not created by Congress and over which it has no oversight," Chutkan, an Obama appointee, said Tuesday.

The decision from Chutkan is a blow to the coalition of 14 Democratic state attorneys general who sued last week to temporarily restrict DOGE's access to federal data about government employees.

Some very simple points, (ironically the kind the simple minded goose stepping left wingers here will not be able to grasp.)

Unelected entity accessing data about government employees?

1. The IRS is NOT ELECTED. It is able to access data on ALL employees, employers, etc.

2. The Social Security Administration is NOT ELECTED. It has EVERYONE'S information.

3. Department of Homeland Security is NOT ELECTED. It has the authority to look into anyone.

4. The FBI is NOT ELECTED, but it has the authority to look into anyone.

Glad to see you have no problem sharing information. I'm not elected either, so please send me your drivers license number, your social security number, your bank account number and credit card information with cvv number included.
Thank you

@Reason10 So, where is your personal information? still waiting for you to pm me or post it online since you have no problem with anyone having access to it

@independentone Social Security has my personal in formation. The IRS has my personal information. The law requires that. You goose steppers have no problem with the Nazi state having access to your personal information. And if you've ever bought anything online utilizing Paypal, you had no problem with Elon Musk having your personal information. (Personally, I always had problems with Paypal. Always thought it was a useless clusterfuck.)

The beauty of a political message board like Similar Worlds is the ability of total strangers to be able to discuss politics and have knock down drag out arguments without having to worry about getting punched in the face.

Also, in this two dimensional environment we are pretty much EQUAL. Appearance, income, social standing, are all irrelevant. Here we are EQUAL and the ONLY thing we can be judged on is our IDEAS.
This is not a decision on the merits, nincompoop!! The ruling was issued as an interlocutory measure regarding the request for a temporary restraining order (TRO). Judge Chutkan’s decision focused on whether the plaintiffs had shown they would suffer immediate, irreparable harm without the TRO, not on resolving the underlying constitutional issues or the overall strength of the plaintiffs' claims. In her ruling, she noted that even a strong merits argument does not automatically justify a TRO at this stage. Essentially, she was deciding on the appropriateness of granting emergency relief, not determining the final outcome of the case.

I assume that you would be happy for Musk and his team to look at your records!
