@NativePortlander1970 The MSNBC post didn't say inflation isn't real or all in people's head. It said that inflation is slowing, which it was at the time, but people are still concerned with how expensive things are post-pandemic. All of that is true, and it isn't saying the inflation isn't real.

As for the quote about Republicans' criticism not adding up, again, this is correct. Republicans were blaming Biden, even though inflation was up all over the world, and the inflation in America was a result of Trump's policies, not Biden's.

There are real criticisms for Democrats. I think they do a really poor job of sympathizing with working-class people. But saying that they were pretending inflation wasn't real, that's just more "alternative facts."
