For all the people who are veterans or disabled, I'm sorry Trump's brand of conservativism doesn't understand the DEI

They think DEI means that you're black and get hired automatically cos of your skin color but it really means something different. Veterans and disabled people fall under DEI. They don't think that people can earn their jobs and fall under DEI, they just think that it's given freely due to right winged propaganda. They're literally cannibalizing their own right now.

Actually we vets do not fall under DEI. There was a time when being a vet meant you got a better chance to get hired until the late 90s when that started going away.

DEI means companies hire the best, not the one that checks a box. I work in the govt and interviewing is one of the tasks I do.

Checking the box marked more than two races, American Indian, etc.... but not white, never pick white especially if your male. Doesnt matter your experience. And employers cannot ask you what tribe you belonged to, that is illegal for them to ask. Employers just want to check a box.

I'm not sure I understand who "their own" is supposed to be in this context. The far right has never given a rat's rectum about veterans. And god forbid you come across a disabled veteran, a stark reminder of the price actual humans pay to protect the oil interests of the upper 1%. Sure, they put on a show, and even didn't stop a vet like McCain from being the candidate. Remember when Trump slipped up and said some of the quiet part out loud about McCain? Trump could call for turning anyone who makes less than $200k a year into soylent green and most of the working poor who support him still would. It's often that way with cults.

@SatanBurger Plus this was just one person. I'll say they were a bad hire, but there are always going to be a few bad hires in any admin. If we're going to say a bad hire is evidence of incompetence on the president's part, well like I said, Trump had a way hire turnover rate. 🤷‍♂
