I am against illegals.
specman · 51-55, MVIP
@Handfull1 nope
specman · 51-55, MVIP
@Handfull1 still assuming you know me?
@Handfull1 Either that or he's still mourning the loss of Epstein.

No one has a problem with deporting illegal aliens, the problem is how does the government achieve that without violating the Constitutional Rights of American Citizens.
We have outlawed Racial Profiling, the Constitution protects us from all government agencies from kicking in our doors without a warrant, so how is it going to be achieved?
They are already detaining American Citizens, including former Military personnel, based solely on the color of their skin.

This is the United States of America, and protecting The Constitution of the United States always comes first.
calicuz · 56-60, M
@nudistsueaz

Of course I am, who believes else would believe so strongly in the Constitution except an American citizen. 😎 🇺🇲

Doesn't seem to bother you that the VICTIMS of these animals have lost THEIR constitutional rights.

We have outlawed Racial Profiling, the Constitution protects us from all government agencies from kicking in our doors without a warrant, so how is it going to be achieved?

Two completely different issues entirely. One involves the 4th Amendment, the other the 14th. You don't know what you're talking about.

They are already detaining American Citizens, including former Military personnel, based solely on the color of their skin.

Says WHO? We're talking about ICE, going after violent illegal aliens who have been convicted of violent crimes. American citizens were detained without due process (AND MANY WERE JUST THROWN IN PRISON WITHOUT A TRIAL) due to Jan 6. THOSE protestors got NO due process.

What RACE is an illegal alien?

Are you suggesting ALL Spanish speaking people are the same? Are you suggesting there's no difference between Venezuelans and Mexicans, or Hondurans, or Nicaraguans? THAT'S RACIST.

I'll try to keep it simple, let Tom Homan explain.

https://nypost.com/2025/01/26/us-news/border-czar-tom-homan-promises-deportations-every-day-culimating-in-millions/

If you’re in the country illegally, you’re on the table because it’s not OK to, you know, violate the laws of this country,” Homan said. “We have millions of people standing in line, taking the test, doing their background investigation, paying the fees, that want to come in the right way.”
“Sanctuary cities lock us out of the jails. So instead of ICE being able to arrest the bad guy … sanctuary cities release them back in the community, which endangers the community,” Homan said.
“We’re enforcing laws Congress enacted and the president signed, if they don’t like it, change the law,” he said of those opposed to the new push. “I find it hard to believe any member of Congress is telling us not to enforce the law that they enacted and they fund us to do.”

“What price [would] you put on all these young ladies that have been raped and murdered and burned alive?” he added of some victims of illegal migrants

“What price [would] you put on Laken Riley’s life?” Homan added, referring to the Georgia co-ed killed by an illegal migrant in February.
specman · 51-55, MVIP
@calicuz but the deportation has been declared a threat to national security. Which we with the founding fathers blessing can do almost if not everything!
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
Immigration (at the Southern border anyway) is no different than it’s been since the 80s. Republicans and plutocrats just become more skilled at using it as a political wedge issue.

Frankly our economy couldn’t operate the way it does without migrant labor and those that cross the border commit far far less crimes than native born Americans.

So in short: watch out for your SS, Medicare and prescription drug costs when politicians start clamoring about immigration. It’s a distraction.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@luckranger71 And what else did the tooth fairy tell you?

THIS
is not immigration.

This is ILLEGAL ALIENS VIOLATING OUR BORDERS.

It began with OBAMA, was almost completely ended by PRESIDENT TRUMP and was revitalized by Adolf Biden.

And America has had enough.
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
First of all we need to reach the understanding that illegal alien is not a race of people but a group. Once we operate on that premise and put things like racial profiling or stereotypes.Aside then we can begin to operate in a very fair and impartial way.

We need.
To enforce the laws equally and without favoritism Or political bias

We need to offer a fair path to citizenship.For those who are willing to put their lives on the line and serve this country or become first responders.

We?
Need to have heavy-handed response.When it comes to illegal undocumented , criminals who create problems and commit violent offenses. But without coming down , heavy handed on those who have not committed crimes and offer simple deportation.

This is the response that is needed
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
Legal immigration is a good thing. Illegal entry isn't. Much like people you invite into your house. Then there the one's that enter that you didn't invite.
calicuz · 56-60, M
@nudistsueaz

I fully understand that there a certain sector of our American society that has forgotten the core beliefs of what it is to be an American, and it's not this MAGA nationalism.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@nudistsueaz It's pretty simple really. People that are in favor of unrestricted borders or open borders are easily recognized. These are people that have no fences around their homes or locks on their doors.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@calicuz The last election suggests something different from your opinion
I'm all for strengthening the border, but that's a different issue from mass deportations.

One response says "no one has a problem with deporting illegal aliens". Would that were true in the UK. Lawyers, do-gooders, left-wingers, politicians, so-called charities fall over themselves trying to prevent it happening, and the courts usually rule in their favour. I hope things are a bit better in the US.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@Handfull1 It doesn't but it should. That's my point.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
I’m with you on hoping for utopia! 🦄🦄
aradia11 · 61-69, F
@MartinII We have Liberals that do what you mentioned above.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
Trump's main campaign issue when he first descended that escalator at Trump Tower was illegal aliens and the damage they were doing to this country.

It would appear that four years of Biden have only made things worse. So it's not surprising that Trump has appointed a pit bull named Tom Homan to take care of business. Trump has directed Homan to take the handcuffs off the ICE agents and let them do their jobs.

They know where the animals are. And they have the backing of the law and the Presidency, should a sanctuary city official try to aid and abet those animals. (It's a felony.)
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@Reason10 It's cost the US millions and millions of dollars.
TheBannibalOne · 61-69, M
@nudistsueaz So what we send billions to Israel and Ukraine.Why is this?
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@TheBannibalOne Well that's by choice. That isn't forced upon us.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
When are we going to stop focusing on the symptoms and work on the real issues? The way outdated and dysfunctional immigration laws that make most immigrants "illegal" and a foreign policy that makes life in most of Latin America so intolerable that it makes the risks of putting your, and your family's, lives in the hands of human smugglers. Or start enforcing the laws against the corporate employers that rely on the cheap labor rather than pay a decent wage with the same rigor, and calling them "illegals" as well?
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@calicuz That so called convection was a hoax. It will change and go away. Never should have happened.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@nudistsueaz Whew! Convection. Are they turning up the heat down there? 🤪🤣🤣
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@dancingtongue No it's cold.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
I am okay with immigration on certain conditions.

1. Come to my country legally

2. You have 2 years to learn to read, write and speak English

3. Commit any crime you will automatically be deported
meggie · F
@nedkelly and a limit on the number of kids they can gave as these people breed like flies

I couldn't be happier to see our President actively and defending our borders.
The Biden regime inflicted the American people with gangs, drug runners, child traffickers, thieves, rapists, murderers, and known terrorists, and then the propaganda media spread the lie that they are just poor, pitiful, honest people looking for a better life. They never bother to mention the hundreds of thousands of Americans murdered by those lovely folks.
aradia11 · 61-69, F
@KingofBones1 Thank you for this, i agree with your ideas, please forward this to Homeland Security
Reason10 · 70-79, M
PRESIDENT TRUMP is just enforcing the law. And he has taken the handcuffs off ICE. They are now getting rid of the violent ANIMALS who have been convicted of violent crimes.

Tell us WHY American streets being safer would be a negative.
aradia11 · 61-69, F
@Reason10 I agree with getting rid of the negative element we dont need criminals, drug pushers or other crud! Yes deport those immediately!
As for the dream act I think it should stay intact, providing tgeycare participants Ina positive sense such as college or work etc.
There was at one time migrant worker programs, that could be beneficial. We could utilize well from that and possibly grow our own crops food etc.

A country without control of it's immigration is not a country
calicuz · 56-60, M
@FreeSpirit1

Of course it's a country, as long as that country has citizens, defined by it's laws, it is a country.
@calicuz
defined by it's laws
calicuz · 56-60, M
@FreeSpirit1

Of course, the discussion has shifted to what a country is and what a country is not. Illegal immigration has left the conversation.
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
It’s not about immigration, it’s about setting up concentration camps, cutting off communication with the public, and torturing people, genocide. In particular torturing very young children, your furor t and his buddies really enjoy torturing children in particular.
