Who owns the moon?

What happened to the flags Apollo astronauts left on the moon in 1969? The Homestead Act of 1862 granted land to settlers, who had staked claims on frontier territory after 5 years of doing so. The Chinese could claim the dark side of the moon as their territory. This would depend on US control of contested domains on the lunar surface. If we loose hegemony on Earth to China, we must not cede America's domination on the moon.

Earth's only natural satellite has far more strategic geopolitical importance than Greenland. Forget about Mars. Trump must get Elon Musk to focus on the moon.

The moon should be a cemetary. We need the land thats being used to store cadavers (rent free, btw) on earth for living and taxpaying citizens.

@whowasthatmaskedman i believe we need the space for tax paying citizens recycling of dead bodies (decomposition) could be acheived on oil plateform cemetaries. Fun question!

@whowasthatmaskedman we could resort to eating dead humans? Not my prefered option.
Instead id convert the moon into a cemetary (lunar gardens on the far side) and the near death star (a retirement home) on the near side. Is ideal.
