Okay, I'd better never again get asked if I'm a felon on a job application.

Depending on your state that may be illegal to ask ona job application but I'm pretty sure it can be asked in an interview. I'm pretty sure my company will just catch it in the background check and reject the applicant at that point though but the company I work for deals with government contracts which necessitates that.
