Canada...well that escalated quickly. Deputy PM and Finance minister throws a grenade on the way out the door

Kristia Freeland just walked with a scathing resignation letter an hour before she was supposed to deliver the fall economic statement.

Trudeau is MIA and everyone is panicking on Parliament Hill.

Apparently Freeland didn't even give her own staff a warning.

Well, this is unnecessarily alarmist. There have been growing tension between Trudeau and Freeland since the summer... this didn't really come out of nowhere. And, this literally just happened today, so expecting an immediate response is neither reasonable nor expected by reasonable people who practise disciplined behaviour. And, while it is true Trudeau has not publicly responded (yet), that is hardly an indication he is "MIA."

I think you should reflect on just how much you crave attention and how often you use extremist language to try to get it. And, maybe you should leave reporting the news to those of us who are professionally trained.
@MarkPaul It is not alarmist at all. It is literally what happened. While that is true blowing this up right before the fall economic update is a big deal.

It is not that he was not issuing a public statement. I also decided to skip question period. So yes, not showing up for work at all is called being MIA.

And I am not the one desperate for attention. That would be you.

And again you feeling the need to gain attention by lying about your credentials for no reason.
