ICE Deports Illegal Alien for 7th Time
In November, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported an illegal alien from Honduras for the 7th time due to a lengthy criminal history.
According to the Daily Caller, 41-year-old Julio Cesar Hernandez Funez was previously deported in 2006, 2013, 2014, 2016, and twice in 2015. His criminal history includes five different felony convictions in the United States, including charges of drug trafficking, assault and battery, and driving under the influence.
“Hernandez is a repeat offender who’s unlawfully entered the United States at least seven times, and he’s committed crimes against innocent people nearly every time,” said ERO Boston acting Field Office Director Patricia Hyde in a press release. “He’s been arrested in multiple states, including in Texas in 2001, where Border Patrol agents found him hiding in the trunk of a car at a checkpoint.”
“He unlawfully entered the United States through Canada in February of this year, and our U.S. Customs and Border Protection partners arrested him in Derby Line, Vermont,” Hyde added. “ERO Boston removed him last week.”
