UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was facing a DoJ investigation and lawsuit when he was shot dead at investor conference

What's going on here? Is the killer someone or a loved one of who United denied care to?

Or did someone not want Thompson to testify to investigators or in court?

🤔

That's interesting. I was unaware of that part.

It does sound more like something a family member of someone denied care would do, though, as it's clear that Rich People® don't have to worry about tedious things like "laws" and "investigations."

UnitedHealthcare doesn't want to release any information hoping the DOJ won't be able to prosecute.

The DOJ is going to be dismantled under Trump.

excellent find. kudos. $100 million in profits from insider trading DOES seem "over the top"

It hasn't even been 48 hours, and you are already speculating.

@Aysel

It doesn't seem like a crime of passion. It looks more like a professional hit job.

The business world is a dirty industry, especially the pharma.

@beckyromero I wasn’t denying your comment.

@Zonuss A better question would have been what was his motive?

@justanothername Easy. The usual. Money, corruption, business, etc. Same ole same ole.
