Yes. More specifically, it was the product of an inability to exercise critical, objective judgement, and a preference for wild speculation and fantasy over plausibility.

@SunshineGirl It is a result of an underfunded and skewed education system that has made many Americans dependent on the Media to to much of their critical thuinking for them. A brilliant exercise in how to create an underclass..😷
