Will the USA remain as a democracy if Project 2025 prevails?

If someone were to try to subvert the US Constitution would the current US Supreme Court re-direct the submissions back to the tenets of the Constitution - OR is there a 'loophole' where absolute power to the Presidency can be granted??
What is the legal limitation / authority of Congress to maintain the tri-partite "Separation of Powers" in status-quo if a President were to try to shift the balance from rule by legislated law to rule by executive order? From the article in the link, the suggestion is that President Trump will be trying to remodel the government so only his directives will be law and he will be able to act without consulting Congress.

The first link below speaks to "Project 2025" and Trump trying to deny his association to it during the election, but now engaging with its author (and previous Presidential councillor) to forcefully enact a similar strategy as Project 2025 promotes.

The second, third and fourth links simply give you (the reader) the background information about the agency and people reporting on the first link.

It's possible it won't, but it's likely that it will. Republicans have held an edge in a lot of places thanks to undemocratic practices. This just kind of puts the fiber on the scale a little more. But if they screw up governance well enough, and if they give Trump free reign then they will, then democrats will likely win again and start undoing damage.

That's what it's all about, surviving the next 4 years and repairing the mess left behind, IF the Constitution survives.

@calicuz That's basically been the cycle since I've been old enough to vote. Democrats stabilize the system and set it up for growth and then we elect Republicans who cash out the long term stability for short term windfalls and then we give it back to democrats when things are starting to go to shit and then blame them for not fixing it immediately.

Trump and Project 2025 are just setting up to speedrun the process in one term instead of two.

Yes, but I agree with those who say the Democratic party needs to move away from the Corpratist Dems and get back to a working man's Democratic Party.
