Will the USA remain as a democracy if Project 2025 prevails?

If someone were to try to subvert the US Constitution would the current US Supreme Court re-direct the submissions back to the tenets of the Constitution - OR is there a 'loophole' where absolute power to the Presidency can be granted??
What is the legal limitation / authority of Congress to maintain the tri-partite "Separation of Powers" in status-quo if a President were to try to shift the balance from rule by legislated law to rule by executive order? From the article in the link, the suggestion is that President Trump will be trying to remodel the government so only his directives will be law and he will be able to act without consulting Congress.

The first link below speaks to "Project 2025" and Trump trying to deny his association to it during the election, but now engaging with its author (and previous Presidential councillor) to forcefully enact a similar strategy as Project 2025 promotes.

@BohemianBabe pronouns, taking rights from parents, allowing horrific surgeries on kids, allowing the child to be groomed, the weaponization of Federal agencies, suppressing anyone that did not believe what they believed, controlling mainstream media, skewed numbers on reports, spreading lies about anyone that disagrees with them, trying to attack Christians, allowing our country to be invaded by illegal aliens, put the blame on republicans any time there is a problem, allowing males play women sports and using their bathrooms and personal space, allowing criminals to walk free, defunding the police, trying to force dei down our throats by trying to have it incorporated into everything, making it where our retirement be invested in esg companies, making America dependent on others for oil , making America look weak in the eyes of the world, political witch hunt’s for political gains etc! Get the picture?

@specman That's not illegal immigration. Asylum-seeking is a legal process in which migrants declare themselves to the authorities.
You can disagree with the process, but this is objectively not illegal.
