Will the USA remain as a democracy if Project 2025 prevails?

If someone were to try to subvert the US Constitution would the current US Supreme Court re-direct the submissions back to the tenets of the Constitution - OR is there a 'loophole' where absolute power to the Presidency can be granted??
What is the legal limitation / authority of Congress to maintain the tri-partite "Separation of Powers" in status-quo if a President were to try to shift the balance from rule by legislated law to rule by executive order? From the article in the link, the suggestion is that President Trump will be trying to remodel the government so only his directives will be law and he will be able to act without consulting Congress.

The first link below speaks to "Project 2025" and Trump trying to deny his association to it during the election, but now engaging with its author (and previous Presidential councillor) to forcefully enact a similar strategy as Project 2025 promotes.

The second, third and fourth links simply give you (the reader) the background information about the agency and people reporting on the first link.

There is no absolute power with the Constitution in place. All Supreme Court Rulings can be reversed over time, just like Roe v Wade. So for there to be absolute power the Constitution must be done away with.
@calicuz come live in australia for a year without a constitution and bill of rights and see if that changes your mind.. :)
@calicuz The Constitution can just be ignored. Laws only matter if the people in power want to enforce those laws. If the Republicans control all three branches of government, then the Constitution means nothing.

@calicuz Once corruption is in the courts, you cant get it out. America as the Founding Fathers wanted it it finished..The "right people" are above the law . Its over..😷

@easterniowegin No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

@Vin53 this is exactly what the mayor of denver will face if he actively interferes/tries to stop the deportation of illegals with LEOs or more.

@easterniowegin What's been shoved down your throats exactly? People wanting to have the same rights as you or I without being marginalized? ahhh...you poor baby.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@Vin53 lmao.
Foreigners have zero right to come here and expext anything from us.
Why are these millions of people determined enough to break laws as they travel hundreds of miles to come here but have zero incentive to pull together and improve their own countries so they don't have to leave?

Deport them all and punish those who have enabled and even handed our tax dollars to them.
@specman
He was never convicted for that was he?

Of course not, he was born into the upper-class. The rich and powerful are above the law.
This goes into a much bigger problem about systemic classism. However, when it comes specifically to the presidency, the Republicans and the Democrats should have come together to ban all of the 1/6 Republicans from holding office. The Democrats tried to do this by impeaching Trump, and a few Republicans actually did the right thing. But the majority of Republicans, being fascist, sided with Trump.
This is why the Constitution has become useless.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout

Not sure I understand you. Are you saying one doesn't need a constitution?

I haven't read the ruling, but my guess is the ruling simply states that the Federal Government can't force the banks to forgive the loans. If any loans are going to be forgiven, the Federal Government must step in and pay those loans off for the American people.
