Politics is not a sport

You can’t be indifferent. I’m sorry but you *have* to care. If you don’t care go live in some place that isn’t a democracy.

We, collectively as the US, deserves what happens to us now. But the rest of the world doesn’t.

It’s not a contest every couple years. It is life and death. Deal with it or move.

I didn't vote in this last election, and I no longer care to participate in a crooked, rigged system. Until they do away with the corrupt electoral college, I will never vote again.
I'm also not going to move. I have the freedom to vote or not to vote and I choose not to play the game.

@independentone That’s not indifference. I can respect that for sure.

@independentone Sitting out and expecting things will magically sort themselves is the #1 reason why you're in that system.

Open literally any history book and see how many electoral systems improved magically on their own when people had enough and collectively stopped voting, without doing anything else: absolutely zero.

@Elessar I know the response was to the other person but I don’t think it will magically get better, but I think it’s time people saw what their indifference leads to.

I’m not an accelerationist by principle. But we’ve fucked around it’s time we found out how bad things can get.
@Elessar 🤷‍♂ meh, I really don't care any more. I'm not motivated enough to try to fight to change a bad system.
PalteseMalconFunch · 36-40, T
@independentone Oh don’t do that.

Don’t fight only because you think you can win. Fight because it’s the right thing to do.
