Tell me, if Biden were able to disqualify this election outcome and have trump arrested, what could stop him?

trump is a convicted felon and having his in control of our Military is a National Security threat.

Prosecute Biden post election if you want.

Biden has total immunity. He can do whatever he wants but the Dems just give up they don't use the laws etc available to them. First put Trump in jail on his upcoming sentencing. Then call a amendment 25 vote.
Vin53 · M
@Pitchblue Precisely! At this time we only need to ask one thing...WWMMD?

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Well, it would be bad optics, not fair play, and not what is done in Western democracies.
@Vin53 The man basically just admitted that if Hitler was elected we should all sit on our hands and wait four years.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow No, there we go. You believe in Insurrectionist-Cry-Baby-trump's style of fascism as long as it pleases your palette with policies you are okay with shoving down people's throats. I suppose you want to protect "the people" whether they like it or not.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Vin53 That's my legal opinion based on my reading of the Supreme Court decision... as long as he can prove it was done as part of his authorized duty in the Office of the Presidency. If the President does it, it's not illegal... is what they decided.

This will turn Democrats into MAGAs. Why would you want us to do that?

The right approach is to figure out what went wrong, and revamp the approach to the 2026 mid-terms and 2028.

The people told us what they want, right or wrong.
Northwest · M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Have you learned how a mail-in ballot works? do they use them in Canada?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow And more childish insults from you.
@Northwest I am not going to engage in your straight up lies about mail in ballots. Maybe try an argument relevant to the discussion and not one you invented out of thin air.
Biden would have immunity according to SCOTUS but the Dems don't have the stones to do something like that.

They are too interested in optics, fair play, and the "high road" like it is still 94.

I thought we went through this before when they atrocious decision came out.

Biden would be immune, but his order would still be illegal and whomever actually did the deed would at most have qualified immunity and could be charged or found liable.

But, if timed right, Biden could pardon the shooter

Trump v US has got to be one of the worst decisions in US history.

So far, anyway.
@MarkPaul No, you just have no idea what you are talking about just like everything else.

And quit lying about your fake credentials.

@Vin53 The President swears an oath to defend America from foreign and domestic enemies. He decides who those enemies are. So, he could declare trump a domestic enemy and have him arrested as such and it would be perfectly constitutional.

BTW, once trump takes office that is what he has said he will to people he consider to be domestic enemies. If he does follow through then no one should whine about it because his actions willl be constitutional.

The oath about defending against domestic and foreign enemies actually applies to people who enter militay service. The kicker is that they have to obey the orders of the President, which means that he decides who those enemies are even if it is not an explicit part of his oath.

The whole thing should be rewritten by intelligent people who will eliminate the spider webs.

But if it’s an official act, Biden can’t be prosecuted for it post presidency. Trump’s SCOTUS said so 😉
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Sounds like something the Supreme Court has okayed -- and insurrection is basically treason, so, GO FOR IT JOE!
thisguy20 · 41-45, M
And the "supreme" court did say that a president has full immunity for any and all presidential acts...

Corruption on both sides.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow No you're just slow. My point stands. ☺
@Zonuss No. I am correct. You have been arguing with me that basic levels of corruption present in literally every country is the same as being a felon.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow You're illiterate. Here I have numerous posts about Trump.
None indicates any level of worship. You're talking out of your feelings here.

JD Vance just did an interview with Charlie Kirk.
Let that sink in..☺

@BohemianBabe Trump himself was surprised to have won in 2016, I think he realistically expected to lose and erode the GOP while at the opposition. "We'll continue to lose until you'll give us a chance", while increasingly taking over the party, and then win with the benefit of being a homus novus in 2020, when people would've been more likely to want a change after three consecutive libdem terms. Also the reason why Russia started the war in 2022 and not during Trump's term: they weren't ready either.

That's the reason why Trump has been relatively ineffective in the first term. Now the takeover of the party is complete, there's virtually no sane ordinary Republicans left that'll "guardrail" him, and he'll be a lot more effective.

You (not you personally, I mean plurally, the country) had the privilege of knowing in advance what you'll be getting and still voted for it.
@Elessar The fact that all of the moderate Republicans have been pushed out is really bad. Honestly, it's very likely that Trump becomes a dictator now that he's surrounded by fascist Republicans.
But I'll always try to find the silver-lining. And the one I'm seeing here is that Trump might cause too much chaos and insanity to carry out Schedule F.
