Post election - all if my frenemies please feel free to comment here. I promise there will be no snarky response.

I suppose that those that didn’t block me last evening or earlier today won’t be able to do. Please take the opportunity to write whatever you feel in a safe place.

I still have plenty of blocks available. I'm at 296.

I'm quite tolerable until a line in the sand is crossed.

Most of my blocks were in the early days of SW to get rid of all the unwanted really, really sick and disgusting stuff people were posting.

@jackjjackson

Well, you know how I feel about blocks. I'm probably more tolerate than the average SWer.

Most of my blocks are people I haven't even conversed with. But just seeing the sick and disgusting questions that really have nothing to do with politics, history, news, etc., made me block them so I don't have to see that cluttering up my feed.

I’ve ran into some pervs I suspect you’ve encountered more. @beckyromero

@jackjjackson

A few. But I figured that was a simple way to clean up the feed. Did that years ago.

They are still in shock.

Interesting. I predicted all the smarty pantses would block or hide. Those of you that haven’t blocked me please write whatever you want here in a safe space.
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
I don't block. I do very occasionally but I try not to. There's a few times but I generally don't.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Good for you! Nice of you to write AND with no snark. @SatanBurger
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Seems like most of the name calling big talkers have scurried under rocks post election.
@jackjjackson I have neither blocked you nor hidden.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Nice to see you Woody. Good for you. It will all happen again in four years. I appreciate you writing at all and really appreciate the lack of snark sir. @ElwoodBlues
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I don't block people that I disagree with. There is always the chance that new information shows up to convince one or the other. And even if that never happens there are bound to be other things held in common.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Agreed. Thank you for writing. @ViciDraco
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco I worked that way for quite some time. And for that reason there are those remaining unblocked because outside politics we seem to agree with many things, can laugh and get along. Others? No the effort isn't worth it. Down the toilet they go.
So far the streaming news outlets aren't showing any riots that have most likely already sprouted in blue states.
@NativePortlander1970 The phrase "contributing factor" is defined as not the main cause. Here's an excerpt from an Ohio gov't document. The first paragraph describes what Dr Baker calls the "top line," the second is the contributing factor(s).

Cause and Manner of Death

Cause of death is a medical opinion which is expressed in two parts. The first is a description of the condition or conditions which directly led to death. When multiple, they are listed in reverse chronological order. The first condition listed is the immediate cause of death, i.e. the condition which caused the individual to die at that time and in that place. The last condition listed is the proximate (or underlying) cause of death, i.e. the condition which started a chain of events leading to death. In some cases, these are one and the same —for example, “Toxic effects of cocaine”. More commonly, the chain has multiple links. For instance, if an individual suffered brain injury from a fall and, while bedridden and unconscious, developed pneumonia which led to death, his or her cause of death could be listed as, “Pneumonia, due to blunt force head trauma, due to fall.”

The second part of the cause of death statement is a list of conditions which did not directly cause death but were contributing factors. For instance, the individual in the example above might have had severe emphysema and, because of this, have been at increased risk of developing pneumonia.

Assuming Ohio and Minnesota (and all the states) use the same courtroom vocabulary, this makes it unmistakably clear that contributing factors are NOT primary causes. Read the whole document for further examples.
@ElwoodBlues Give it up, Baker conceded under cross that the fenatyl contributed to Floyd's death, enough said.
@NativePortlander1970 You are willfully denying the legal/medical definition of contributory cause and trying to pretend it means the same thing as immediate or 'top line' cause. Give it up.
Dr. Andrew Baker, Hennepin County's chief medical examiner, said Floyd died after police "subdual, restraint and neck compression" caused his heart and lungs to stop. He said heart disease and drug use were factors but not the "top line" causes.
