@WalksWith just to let you know, in a local race for the house, Republicans are doing the same thing.

It seems Trump policy on abortion has effected even the house races.

Well, duhh!! They should have known from the beginning, after Dobbs. Religion has been controlling the right and it got worse. The republicans died on the wrong hill. I think it is going to take some time for the American people to trust them again. What Ol' Don did to this country...? They hatred he spewed, the divisiveness, the threats, calling our country a garbage can? Mocking out Veterans? it's going to be a while.

Those republicans in your local race distancing from abortion rights now? They will just go back on their word, they will sell there votes on the floor to those willing to buy it!

Anyway, just my opinion.

@WalksWith The present Republican Party needs to follow the Whigs and "know nothings" into history book footnotes. Honest conservatives, not dictated by churches and creatures like Peter Theil, can reconstitute a conservative movement.
