I've been struck by this watching Trump and Harris rallies:

Trump is so low energy, flagging, listless but most notably hateful. The enemy Kamal is low IQ, foreigners hate us blah blah blah...all delivered in a barely awake doze.

Meanwhile Harris is telling her supporters what they can do to help their fellow Americans, that they have power to do this, that hope is the future and cheering them on even as they cheer for her!

The vibe is so different.

Curious, would MAGA really disagree with this on any other grounds than that they're happy about the doom and gloom Trump is spouting? Or at least that he promises to end the doom and gloom just like he was going to "drain the swamp"?

Trump has dialed into the vein of MAGA hate. He encourages everyone to hate everyone else. Thats all he has to offer and his MAGA supporters seem to love it.

That's definitely the well he's trying to tap: dissatisfaction, distrust and hate of the "other", someone to blame and the promise that it will all go away if only great leader sits on the throne again.

Trump is correctly labeled as a cry baby for a reason.
