Trump is saying "We gave the choice on abortion back to the states"....as if that's supposed to be a good thing.

How is women dying or losing their ability to have children a good thing just because their state got to take away their right to bodily autonomy?

Come on, MAGA, pro-birthers....make this make sense.

Wasn’t it a good thing when we allowed states to decide sanctuary status ?
Wasn’t it a good thing when we allowed states to decide legal weed ?
Those things have led to many deaths .
How is this different ?
@AthrillatheHunt

How is this different ?

Would you consider having legal access to recreational cannabis a fundamental human right?
Of course not and that's the difference.
The right over your own body and to your health is a human right. Deciding within your state if weed should be legal or if you want to be a sanctuary state is does not violate the human rights of the people living in that state.
@AthrillatheHunt Because abortion is a human right. It's the same reason we don't allow the states to decide if slavery is legal. States' rights matter, but not when human rights are at stake.

@BohemianBabe you should argue that before the Supreme Court , that abortion is a basic human right .

@AthrillatheHunt

Well i probably won't be able to do that so let's you and i argue it here.

Do you think a right to bodily autonomy (that is the right to decide what to do with your own body) is a human right?

Yes or no?
@AthrillatheHunt

Why? The Republicans don't care about human rights and they have the majority. It would be like trying to argue for human rights in North Korea.

@BohemianBabe no point in even trying.
@AthrillatheHunt I mean, if I happen to find myself face to face with Clarence Thomas, I could try. But I'm sure he wouldn't even listen.

@BohemianBabe disguise yourself as a white woman . He will listen. Haha
@AthrillatheHunt Maybe we could bond over our mutual love for watermelon and pawgs.
@AthrillatheHunt

Hey, i see you've been responding in this thread but you've missed my question.
I'll repeat it here for your convenience:

Do you think a right to bodily autonomy (that is the right to decide what to do with your own body) is a human right?

Yes or no?

@Pikachu it never has been and it never will be is what I think .
