Imagine a state suing in order to keep illegal aliens on a voting registrar.

Didn’t trump rig the 2016 election?

@Aysel If the 2020 election was rigged, why did the orange shitgibbon file 60 lawsuits, and lose every one of them, even in front of judges he'd appointed?
The 2020 election was the most legitimate in US history.

You left off purging voter rolls, closing polling places, and outlawing giving water to people waiting in 8 hour lines to vote.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom @LeopoldBloom That's because you don't understand purging the rolls.
The state occasionally gets rid of registrations of people who have died, moved to other precincts, or maybe were sentenced to prison. That's so the DEmoNazis cannot use those registrations to manufacture illegal votes. As far as those other things, gee it seems like they only occur in blue precincts. Republican precincts are much more competently run. (No surprise there.)

@Aysel says
Trump brought SIXTY ONE court cases at different levels in different states with different teams of lawyers, and NONE of them found any evidence of significant election fraud. NONE of them.
Trump also asked his attorney general (and one of his staunchest allies), William Barr, to have the 112,000 member Dept of Justice look into election fraud. I don't know how many members were assigned to look for fraud, but with 112,000 members they have plenty of resources. Barr told the AP that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up specific complaints and information they’ve received, but “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
But wait! There's more!!
In the days after his 2020 loss, Trump's campaign commissioned two different independent firms to look into 2020 election fraud: Simpatico Software, headed by Ken Block, and Berkeley Research Group. Neither found any significant fraud.
In the months after Biden took power, the republican states of Arizona and Georgia carried out very careful hand recounts and examinations of voter rolls, including the notorious Arizona "Cyber Ninja" hand count. Both found no significant fraud and no signs of funny business.

Additional "rigged election" claims have evaporated under scrutiny.
(1) Mike Lindell? Lost to his own "prove me wrong" thing.
(2) Mark Meadows? Recanted under oath.
(3) Sydney "Kracken" Powell? Recanted under oath.
(4) Kenneth Chesebro? Recanted under oath.
(5) Rudy Giuliani? Convicted of defamation.
(6) Vote counting machines? They match hand counts.
(7) 2000 Mules? Source "True the Vote" refuses to back up any of their claims in court, despite subpoenas.
(8) Fox News paid out $787,500,000 because they couldn't support their claims of election fraud. $787,500,000 - that ain't pocket change. A business doesn't pay out $787,500,000 for defamation without first spending millions to see if there might be a shred of support for what its people said; to find some excuse for why it's not defamation.

So there you have it, @Aysel. There's no rational reason to believe Trump's lies about a "rigged" or "stolen" election. Evidence for it doesn't exist.
He didn't rig it, but the 2020 election was rigged.
We're STILL waiting for evidence of any such "rigging."Trump brought SIXTY ONE court cases at different levels in different states with different teams of lawyers, and NONE of them found any evidence of significant election fraud. NONE of them.

2024 Supreme Court Ruling: "Tuesday's 6-3 ruling rejected a sweeping version of what has been dubbed the “independent state legislature theory,” which argues that state legislatures have almost unfettered powers to implement election law, free even of the normal legal review carried out by state courts."
Except, of course...for Virginia.

@Jake966 Here's how Alabama denied poor people their right to vote.
Step 1: pass voter ID law
Step 2: close ID issuing offices in predominantly poor or black counties.
Look, I've got NO PROBLEM with the theory of voter ID, as long as it's free and easy. I DO have a problem with the practice of making it differentially harder for the elderly & working poor. https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/challenge-obtaining-voter-identification
"Voter ID laws have been estimated by the U.S. Government Accountability Office to reduce voter turnout by 2-3 percentage points, translating to tens of thousands of votes lost in a single state." https://www.aclu.org/news/civil-liberties/block-the-vote-voter-suppression-in-2020/

And you're definitely in a team with the Dems, so that what Americans would vote for becomes impossible and excluded from your "country" run by the regime in Washington.

nobody complained before about needing to be a citizen or requiring ID. why now are people getting bent out of shape.. 🤔
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Moneyonmymind Democrats are getting bent out of shape, because they want to make sure illegal aliens and dead people can vote.If they voted mostly for Republicans, you can bet they'd stop it in a heartbeat.
