I see it on both sides, to be honest. I can't take people seriously if they're going to do that.
They are basically immature and have not changed since they were in high school. Genetically, they are at the maximum level of possible learning.

It's a classic bullying tactic. Call the person anything but their real name. Especially if they say they don't like it, double down on it. But you knew that.
