They say we pay taxes so we can maintain roads.
If a buckets of tar were distributed to every household so we can fix our own potholes at our discretion and in turn we pay less taxes, would you vote for that guy?

@GuyWithOpinions To a point we would depending upon your age and distance of road you would be responsible to pave. Under your idea I would have to pave close to 5 tenths of a mile of road that boarders my farm, and I rather my taxes paid for that.

@GuyWithOpinions As I previously said, I have only ever seen a patch of an asphalt roadway done properly once.

Tar itself doesn't do shit, it needs to be asphalt, tar with small rocks to give it structure.
