Do you truly and honestly believe leftist dems want to preserve and defend the US Constitution? NO, they're constantly wanting to rewrite it, claiming it's a "living document" and that "it's not set in stone".
@NativePortlander1970 But why should a 250+ year old document that was written with a bird feather dipped in ink by men who rode horses on roads made of dirt, be valid today when time has moved forward and America has grown incrementally despite it's desire to remain locked in the past with a US Constitution that seems to govern it's enslaved tax-paying citizens beyond reason within America's own dungeon?
Why would the USA do that to itself unless America actually hates itself?

@NativePortlander1970 Well, we in Canada actually do have the same rights as you do in the US. Those rights however, are there to protect the freedom of all Canadians, not just the freedom of those few who feel the need to protect themselves from their own shadow with a gun they only think they need to carry.

Also, what about girls and women, hmmm? You're all constantly stalked and attacked by deviants, three young girls ages 6 to 9 knifed to death while at a Taylor Swift themed event in Southport, England, other young girls were severely wounded and injured, an armed adult would have stopped it. In Leister Square in London an 11 year old girl and her mother were attacked by a knife weilding maniac, the mother if armed could have stopped it, knife attacks and heinous sexual violations in the UK and Europe are on the rise against girls and women there by muslim males.
Then you have four legged dangers, dog attacks happen everywhere and when least expected. It's best to carry and not need a firearm, than not be carrying and need one.

@swirlie Back in 2019, in a small middle of nowehere town in iowa, of less than 450 people living there, close to where I'm currenly living less than an hour away, an older Lady that was the bank manager was unlocking the door was ambushed, shot, and killed, by an out of state thug intent on ransacking the bank vault. Crime happens where and when you least expect it.
