United Against Hate - England's counter-protesters left with little to counter
With hundreds of thousands of anti-racism protesters thronging the streets of English cities, any pathetic far-right attempts to cause trouble had little option but to give up and go home.
Britain has, thankfully, shown that, as usual, the VAST majority of its citizens want nothing more than to live in peace with WHOEVER wants to come and live here :)
Actually, the so-called anti-racism protestors are organised by the far left. Look at the Socialist Worker posters. I don't have a problem with that, and it does seem that the left-wing protests have been peaceful so far. But I do object to the double standards employed by the media in describing the two sides.
@MartinII One "side" has terrorised vulnerable people, attacked police, caused tens of millions of pounds of damage to property . . the other has protested largely peacefully. Do you seriously think that both should be described in the same terms?
@SunshineGirl Both should be described as a what they are, respectively far right and far left (by no means the whole story in either case), anti-Muslim and anti-semitic (ditto). And, of course, physically violent in one case, physically peaceful but sometimes verbally violent in the other.
