Support for Ukraine: Time for a Clear Decision

Since the start of the war, Ukraine has received significant support from the EU and the USA, totaling approximately $332 billion. The EU has contributed around $162 billion, while the USA has provided about $175 billion.

Now, we must make a clear decision: Either we end the support and give nothing more, effectively ending the war, or we provide Ukraine with enough resources to actually drive Russia out of their country and thereby end the war. This constant "giving a little" is not enough to maintain the status quo and will keep the war dragging on for decades. It is time to take a decisive stance and either fully support the conflict or cease aid entirely.

Make them a member of NATO and win back their territory.

@SomeMichGuy fair but that has nothing to do with USA Australia etc
@zonavar68 Um, do you realize who the members of NATO are?
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@SomeMichGuy yes the members of mayday aka North Atlantic Treaty Alliance.
@zonavar68 The US *is* in it.

If Ukraine were added, it would be an automatic war of NATO w/Russia.

@SomeMichGuy agree and I also strongly disagree with the 'five eyes' or any other power ballad group having anything to do with Ukraine when it's not their problem.
@zonavar68 Russia is our problem when they try to retake the Soviet Empire.

This was enabled by DJT because he was/is enraptured with tyrants. And an actually strong President would have made it clear that any move to retake the Soviet territories will be a bad thing.

So now Putin--who also helped DJT when he openly invited a foreign power to participate in our soveriegn election!--is in a big war w/Ukraine.

He didn't accomplish ANYthing with North Korea; in fact, he gave THAT tyrant a great PR coup for signing an agreement which meant NOTHING.

Now NK is shooting hypersonic delivery vehicles, threatening South Korea, Japan, and us.

He let our local agents the Kurds die, strengthening the power of the tyrant if Syria.

He backed out of the treaty controlling Iran's nuclear program...

So now we have Iran rattling its nuclear saber...

He expressed admiration for tyrants of all ilks...

And now we've had China cracking down on Hong Kong and threatening Taiwan.

He did so much to make us an international laughingstock that other free countries looked to Angela Merkel of Germany as "the leader of the free world".

And as he started, there was a mass departure of people from the State Department...

These hurt America's reputation and standing in the world, and esp. our position as a pre-eminent democratic republic.

That's not success in foreign policy.
