Impact of Project 2025 on European Partners

As far as I can see, Project 2025, spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation, proposes consolidating executive power in the U.S., which could significantly impact European partners. The plan suggests a potential reduction in U.S. commitment to NATO, compelling European countries to enhance their own defense capabilities and increase military spending. This shift could strain transatlantic relations as Europe adjusts to a diminished U.S. role in its security framework.

Economically, Project 2025’s policies could lead to reduced cooperation on climate change initiatives, affecting global climate goals. Politically, Europe might seek to strengthen ties both internally and with individual U.S. states to mitigate the effects of a more isolationist U.S. administration.

What do you think about this?

I think you should stop listening to MSM and DNC propaganda about "Project 2025".

It's the left wing equivalent to the WHO or WEF.

A partisan fear fantasy.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster Dude, there's the PDF from its very own official site (or even better, the way back machine, since they scrambled all the page numbers to defy the memes lol) that confirms pretty much 100% of what is said to be in the document.

A conspiracy theory is one when it lacks evidence, here the Heritage foundation did us a marvelous favour by plastering it over the internet
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar Dude, who cares. It's a wish list, it's not policy.

It's like worrying about if the US will adopt the WHO treaty when it was clear the US would not give up its sovereignty like that.

You're paranoid.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster Sounds a lot like "Roe will never be overturned, it's just banter, trust me bro", part 2: electric boogaloo
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SumKindaMunster People really do need to get this is a position by the Heritage Foundation and not Trump's campaign platform.

The Heritage Foundation is influential and important for setting direction for the Republican party so it should not be ignored either but, y'know, take things for what they are.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@CountScrofula Thank you Dave, I don't disagree with any of that.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar Yeah could be that. There could be "No stoppin' us" when Turbo, Ozone and Special K grab their cardboard and bust the dopest and freshest moves.

Or it could be yet another paranoid delusion like Trump is going to put people in camps, or is a Russian asset, etc.

Or started an insurrection...
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster He did start an insurrection, and he is quite clearly a Russian asset unless we want to believe that a guy that struggles to read a report past the title per his very own advisors stole heaps of classified documents for his own entertainment while at the bathroom, lol
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar Nope. Someday you will see that. I hope you think of me when you do and realize I was right.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster All the opposite, I think it'll be you the one who'll have a change of mind.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar The tide has already turned, you sense it, but you just haven't reconciled it yet. It's why you are so tightly wound lately. You'll have plenty of time to recognize your mistakes.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster I heard the same thing in 2020 and 2022. Ultimately, if P25 is enacted and turns out to be more than a "wishlist" (as it's pretty clear considering that the SCOTUS has already started implementing parts of it) it'll screw you much earlier and with a much much greater intensity than it'll screw anyone else outside the perimeter of your country.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar Did you? From me? I don't think so.

I look forward to whatever it is that replaces Project 2025 in your bonnet. I'm sure whatever that may be you will turn right around and start promoting the latest fear campaign.

Dude! Be on the lookout for Leviathan 2.0! "Destiny" said its a fascist takeover and even though he's been wrong about everything for the last 4 years, I gotta lucky feeling this might finally be the thing that trips up Trump!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SumKindaMunster I read the PDF by myself and I know what it states. I don't need "Destiny" nor you to think for me.

As I said, when (not even "if") it'll be converted in policy you'll figure out you were the one in the wrong.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Elessar Sure dude. Talk to you later.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@SumKindaMunster

It's a wish list, it's not policy.

It's 900 pages long . . try sending that one off to Santa Claus 🎅🏻
Elessar · 26-30, M
@SunshineGirl They made it 900 pages long just to make it read-proof for Republicans lol. Like Trump's 90+ minutes deranged speech that nobody sane of mind is going to listen, but just cut into bits lol
