Grindr servers crash due to high volume in Milwaukee

In case anyone isn't aware, Grindr is a gay hookup service, similar to Tinder, but for gay men. And for anyone not paying attention, the Republican party held their national convention this week in Milwaukee. In a development that should be surprising to no one, this was an opportunity for delegates to engage in the kinds of activities that may be problematic for them back home, to the point that Grindr's servers crashed from the additional traffic.

I don't intend this to be a dig at gay men; what annoys me is the hypocrisy. These are the same people who plan on revoking same-sex marriage and criminalizing trans people. While I can understand why a conservative might not want people to know that they're engaging in casual gay sex and hookups, it's disgusting that they're engaging in the same behavior they want to punish others for. I wouldn't be upset if some hacker publicly exposed every one of them.

So your dad was a Democrat? Because Project 2025 will outlaw Grindr, forcing you to use the underground NAMBLA site.
