I listened to an interview this morning with Dan Bongino, a former member of the Secret Service. He said that the Director of the Secret Service, Kimberly A. Cheatle, actually mocked a request for more Secret Service protection at Mara Lago, stating that, "I don't protect nightclubs". Bongino says this is not hearsay. He heard her say it himself.
She was also terribly concerned, according to Bongino, with the color of the ties worn by Secret Service protecting Trump. She did NOT want them to wear red ties, because she felt it was sending the wrong message.
She is also really concerned with filling the Secret Service with more women. So...more DEI.
