Trump supporters are you not worried now the Supreme Court has said the President (Biden) can do whatever he wants basically?

why doesn’t it chill the blood in their veins?
Elessar · 26-30, M
They don't because they know Biden will keep playing by the rules against people who just flipped the table
Jennster · 18-21, F
@LordShadowfire But that won’t happen so what are some other solutions

@Jennster Keep them out of the presidency for now. Get involved and vote at every level - local, state, federal. Support candidates that advocate for reforms, as opposed to merely preserving the status quo in 2028.

Especially don't let divisive bullsh*t (Palestine, Biden's age) be reason to sit out or waste the vote and let Trump et al. get the executive branch too and ultimately end the country as you know it.
@CountScrofula Democrats are holding up the Constitution to the Republicans like it's a cross to vampires, and the Republicans are just laughing and calling them nerds.

@BohemianBoo I feel you need to know that I borrowed this and posted it on Twitter.

No, and they shouldn't be. The Supreme Court kept the immunity strategically vague so they can rule on each situation on a case-by-case basis. This is never going to benefit the Democrats.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
No because they know that Biden is decent and wouldn't act on the power. On the contrary he spoke against it.

@Jennster They will simply ignore it.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@JimboSaturn If the GOP goes full-nazi and Biden happens to be the last one to had any power to stop them but didn't, in order to appear "decent", he won't go down in history as "decent". Neville Chamberlain didn't go down in history as "decent", either.
Yeah, this isn't good for anyone regardless on which side of the political spectrum you're on.
Jennster · 18-21, F
@NerdyPotato the supreme court voted to limit their own powers massively! it’s astonishing - they voted that a president could assassiate *them* one by one without legal repercussions

@Jennster https://similarworlds.com/public-figures/joe-biden/5046599-Okay-So-now-that-the-president-has-immunity-for-official
Elessar · 26-30, M
@NerdyPotato That's the only solace with fascisms: it's only a matter of time before its own base ends in the grinder too
I guess they know that, realistically, the SCOTUS is only going to give a pass to Republicans.
Jennster · 18-21, F
@BohemianBoo it’s a coup
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
I guess you are not a lawyer or have any idea what the SCOTUS actually said. Too Funny!
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
They haven't thought it through, that's why.
