@specman thoughts and prayers have done SO much
@SarahAndSamantha we’ll see what God back in schools will do.
@specman Yet when prayer was officially taken out of schools in the 1960's, school shootings were relatively rare, until Columbine in 1999, almost 40 years later.

@specman How did I know you'd be here on the wrong side of another argument?
@LordShadowfire because you know me well
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@specman So I'm going to ask you this, and I want you to actually give it some thought, and not just give it the usual knee-jerk "That wouldn't happen in America" BS most people give me.
What if instead of the Ten Commandments from the Christian religion, tax-funded government buildings where your children are being educated were mandated to put plaques of the Five Pillars of Islam on the wall, and forced teachers to read to children from the Quran as if it's a historic document? How would you feel about that? Why is that different?

@LordShadowfire the morals and values that this country had was from the Christian religion and out of all religions the Christian religion has the majority.

@specman Okay, here we go with this one again. Because of course, the Christians invented the idea that killing and stealing are bad, right? There were no civilizations before Christianity was founded that came up with the idea that maybe we shouldn't murder other humans or take their stuff?
Oh, and by the way...
Just because a religion is popular, that doesn't mean you get to cram it down my throat.

@LordShadowfire the morals and values! Not the ones that the left has been trying to shove down people’s throats,
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@specman Okay, so which morals and values are you talking about? The part where Jesus said that slavery was good? The part where rаре victims have to marry their rаріst? The part where it's okay to put your kid?
