Anybody know what you can make with ammonium nitrate.

Talking to a friend who works in the fertilizer industry said when he called the report a shipment of ammonium nitrate the representative at the federal government said they quit tracking where ammonium nitrate is stored. He asked why they said came from the top. Would you think this is good or bad.

Not who buys it or how much they buy, or thefts, all still tracked. Only storages are not tracked for the volume they have. Same with all goods falling under the TSCA.

@dale74 companies are required to keep track of (amounts) of bulk storages; at least in the US...

mostly in case of fires...

Tracking appears to be done state-by-state, with no formal federal oversight yet agreed on (it’s still in committee 🙄)

So this friend would have to call whoever is in charge of that for their state, not Uncle Sam @dale74
