My grocery bill is up 35% since Biden took office, my insurance rates have gone through the roof, gasoline is a couple bucks a gallon more.
Those are just some of the reasons I will not be voting for Biden.

@independentone In addition to what Ynotisay said, do you remember why gas was a couple bucks a gallon cheaper four years ago? Because we were in the middle of a pandemic and most people were rightly too afraid to drive very much! And that was the only reason gas was ever cheap while Trump was president.

@Theyitis Right or wrong, the current President will be held responsible for the economy. It has always been that way, and most likely always will. People vote their pocketbooks

@independentone If people truly voted their pocketbooks only the very wealthy would ever vote Republican. What’s Republican economic policy? Tax cuts for the rich that are supposed to “trickle down”. Yeah right. That’s not going to help most people’s pocketbooks.

@Theyitis Well, Biden certainly hasn't helped mine, and he lies at least as often, if not more than Trump did.

@Theyitis What gets me is in both the short and longer terms, taking in to account things like war, market crashes, bank bailouts etc., Democratic administrations perform SIGNIFICANTLY better than Republicans when it comes to the economy. It's not even close. But then the pattern takes over.
Republicans drive the economy in to the ground, Democrats take the sometimes hard steps to get it back on track and growing, Republicans convince stupid people that THEY are the ones who handle the economy best, and we're back to square one. And that typically includes providing the very richest with even more. Over and over again. I think it's safe to say we just live in a dumb country.
