My Facebook feed is full of people defending Harrison Butker

Apparently the main line of defense is “the media is taking him out of context, distorting his message, if you just listen to his whole speech you’ll see that he’s right.” Because of course liberals let the media do all our thinking for us 🤢🤮

Butker was standing before an audience of students that have just graduated from a religious institution that supports and teaches exactly what he stated in his speech.

To most of us, his comments were abhorrent, but he was speaking to many who faithfully believe that women are subservient to men and their main reason for living is to produce offspring and serve her male master.

He has every right to his opinion, and those of us who disagree, have the right to voice our opposition to his statements.

@JSul3 So what was the point of those young women paying money and working to achieve a college degree? And he hit on a little more than just women in the workplace. It was top ten list of made up religious grievances.

@Ynotisay Many people go to college where they will feel comfortable. Many times, that is a religious institution.

The guy got a lengthy standing ovation for his speech, so they agreed with his statements. 100%? Who knows how many walked away thinking: "What BS was THAT?" Maybe many...maybe a few....maybe none.

Perhaps a 'baby maker' with a degree ranks better than a 'baby maker' who barely made it out of high school.
