How can a POTUS drive inflation up, or down?
I'm told by the lefties that Biden has no effect on, or control of, inflation.

Is the Fed independent of government? Trump doesn't want it to be. Our Aussie reserve bank is independent of government. Inflation cannot be *easily* manipulated without flow-on effects like triggering recessions, driving up property prices, killing other financial markets, etc.
