Steve Forbes had that idea originally, in the 90s. To do that, a Republican Congress will have to overturn the 16th Amendment and get rid of Title 26 of the U.S. Code. Frankly the FAIREST tax is a national sales tax. But only if it replaces the income tax.

@BizSuitStacy I can't think of anything that Biden has promised that was a) legal and b) good for the country that has happened. He's persisting on forgiving school loans despite a ruling by the SCOTUS that he can't, and his 'job growth' numbers have more to do with increasing government than reporting growth in the private sector.
I think we all knew (or should have known) that the 400K claim was BS.
@jackjjackson Who would they run instead? I can't think they'd run Kamala and find a VP for her, and Newsom is such a greaseball that I'd hope even the DNC would think twice before choosing him. They hate JFK, Bernie has been exposed as a 1% er... They have a problem if they want to find an electable Democrat.
