Are you willing to lay your life on the line in the name of American exceptionalism?

The majority of old Americans find it impossible to move away from the concept of American exceptionalism.

By old, I mean baby boomers and anyone older. Yes, 65 is old. Don't get upset and say, "I'm not old 😟." Your ass is old. Embrace your age!

I also mean some people in their 50's, 40's, 30's and even in their 20's who have been brainwashed by the older generations. You are old too, outdated in your ideology.

So, what is wrong with these old people? Not all but the vast majority...

To begin with, there's the strong belief in American exceptionalism, accompanied by the idea that we possess an inherent right from a higher power to dominate globally. It's not hard to see the irrationality of those notions. There are 8 billion people on this planet. Americans account for roughly 5% but somehow, many Americans think we should represent the world.

Old Americans are even willing to send their children and grandchildren to war out of envy toward China. Fear of Russia is widespread. Most of them believe Jews are God's chosen people, and we continue to support their atrocious war crimes with billions of taxpayers' dollars. Capitalism is viewed as ordained by a higher power.

When I say old people, this perspective extends beyond any specific racial group. Most individuals aged 60 and above cling to outdated, conservative ideologies. If these archaic beliefs are not addressed, people my age and younger will bear the brunt... We will suffer.

Exceptionalism does not equal “wanting to be the best”:

The first use of the term "American exceptionslism" was by communists, so consider the source and agenda.

@BizSuitStacy I am pretty sure I've heard Reagan use that word, or if he didn't use the word, he implied it.
I think American Exceptionalism has been thoroughly replaced by Trumpism.

Exceptionalism = false idol worship.

What a coincidence! I just came across this video explaining how exceptionalism is a sign of a certain something. 👀

@NerdyPotato Nothing but the unadulterated truth coming from a revolutionary free thinker. Absolutely spot on about the similarities between American exceptionalism and cultism... deception, propaganda and information control.
@Justice4All yeah, I always thought it strange that Americans are so incredibly proud of their symbols and everything those stand for, when so many aspects of their country are objectively not great. But it wasn't until I saw this video that I realized where that comes from and what it's for. The guy speaks from experience and makes a very good point.
