Israel killed 3 Americans in bomb attack - Should the U.S. retaliate?

When have you heard Israel openly criticize the various drone strikes in Afghanistan launched by the U.S. which killed non combatants? I raise this because our state department is expressing anger at this event.

And the State department if not mistaken
lets U.S. citizens know that if they go to certain areas, they are at risk of harm or death.

The deaths of these three Americans is tragic but they had to have known they were at risk, and in harms way.

We won’t bomb Tel Aviv, nor will we cut off aid to Israel.
And again if not mistaken, Americans are still held by Hamas. So the administration albeit publicly decrying this strike needs to and will tread lightly.
