Do you think the left or the right will fix the state of the US?

@dancingtongue the left has the answers to ecocide, inequality and capitalism, the left alone opposes war. But the middle teams up with the right to bring genocide and ecocide. You do realize that! You just hate the possiblity of an opposing left.

@Roundandroundwego We need the extremes to push for progress (and provide a check on runaway change for the sake of change). The question was about fixing the state of the U.S.. The state of the U.S. is political gridlock, labeling, finger-pointing, and bumper sticker slogans. Fixing that is listening to one another, respecting one another, finding common ground, and compromise. That is in the middle.

@dancingtongue nothing too extreme about a criticism of the results of capitalism. It's just left wing politics. Humanists are all the extreme left compared to the US "middle". The middle can't make sense when you're choosing between what's good for life and society and what serves businesses, what oppressess nature and society. One's good the other isn't.

@Roundandroundwego Then you need to build consensus for your views, and you don't do that by labeling and saying my way or the highway.

@dancingtongue most people already do agree with me. We'd need a nuclear arsenal to oppose the magnificent regime in Washington.
