Having political friends is like having a GF who doesn't like your friends

I like them but it's such a bummer to be around. If I tell them I listen to Joe Rogan podcasts they moan and start complaining about politics. Or "oh you like that person, you must be one of them".

I'm pretty neutral, I realized politics is a waste of time and I like to live my own life 🤷 so if I don't lean into whatever opinion it is some people label you.

It's dumb because I'm so chill 😂 I think so many are radicalized or don't really think for themselves.

I have one friend who was so distraught when LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP had his reelection stolen, that the guy is obsessed with politics. He spends most of his days watching Glenn Beck. Politics is all he talks about. (Yeah, I told him he should have gotten married and had kids. His life would have been different.)

You're right about politics being a waste of time.

I don't even watch Fox News on TV any more (even though it is the top rated and most reliable news source on the planet.) All those talking heads flaunting their egos with a million commercials.

Not worth the time. Fox's website is a better choice. Scan the headlines, click what's important and move on.

When I want politics, I come to places like this.
