You can be a victim without losses.

Say you were supposed to get $250 million, but in the end you only get $25 million.

That's a $25 million gain, but you were a victim of $225 million as it was stolen or they cheated you out of that amount.

Also in this case, one bad actor can raise the loan prices on others whom correctly and legally report their information.

And I don't know this, but I think the money is going to the government, which in theory reduce the tax payers debt.

@sstronaut Here's what the judge said.

Disgorgement is distinct from the remedy of restitution because it focuses on the gain to the wrongdoer as opposed to the loss to the victim . Thus, disgorgement aims to deter wrongdoing by preventing the wrongdoer from retaining ill-gotten gains from fraudulent conduct.

@Lila15 No fraud just corrupt, leftist judge and prosecutor.

@Strictgram Well, your orange lord and savior is going to appeal, so if you're right, the decision will be overturned. But I get it - if a judge goes after a Democrat, it's "law and order," but if they go after Traitor Tot, it's "corrupt leftists."

Just curious, if Trump did in fact break the law, should he be held accountable? Or is he like God, where if he does something, it's automatically legal just because he did it?

@sunsporter1649 Just because you people worship Trump like he's the Second Coming of Christ doesn't mean we worship Biden the same way. We're not in a cult like you people are.

Since you're a big law and order guy who accepts legal decisions, I assume you now accept that Biden won the election fair and square and hasn't broken any laws.

@Lila15 Do you agree that the FBI and Justice Dept. Have been weaponized against Conservativs or do you think a 400 billion fine for a victimless crime is justice?
@Strictgram Nope, they're just complaining because they're being caught.

And you're just repeating lies if you say it's victimless.

@sstronaut Lets see, borrowed $150,000,000 on assets worth $500,000,000 to $1, 200,000,000, paid it back on time, with interest. Where's the fraud besides your imagination?
@sunsporter1649 If you really wanted to know, all you would have to do is stop ignoring reality and read about the case.

He was found guilty by following the law, because he failed to do so.

@sstronaut So Mar-A-Largo is worth $18,000,0900 eh?
