It’s a fine, like a traffic ticket. Trump broke the law and will pay the fine to the state of New York. The victims are essentially the people of that state.

@Lila15 No law was broken. As interpreted by the court, EVERYONE who ever borrowed money for a business deal is going to be bankrupted. So. Your cheering just guaranteed the collapse of the New York economy. Good thing it will be overturned.
The naked selfie judge should be tried and guilty of racketeering. He lied, underestimating the value of Mar Largo by over 1.2 billion dollars. Facts.

@IronHamster If no law was broken, Trump's attorney must be a real idiot since she didn't bring that up.
The evidence showed that Trump undervalued properties for tax purposes, then overvalued them for collateral on loans. Yeah "everyone does this" but not to the degree Trump did. It would be like the person offering free samples at the supermarket, and you take the entire tray.
Also, you don't seem to know what "racketeering" means. And if you think Mar-a-Lago is so valuable that it could be underestimated by "over $1.2 billion," that means it has a negative net worth.
Anyway, your orange lord and savior will appeal, but he will have to either post a bond or put the judgment in escrow within 30 days or the state will seize his assets. Better hurry up and send him your Social Security check.

@Lila15 So now you are a real estate expert and can determine assesed value and the value someone is willing to pay for property too, eh?
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@sunsporter1649 But you're an expert. Of course, you're not, you just have a knee-jerk reaction to anything that goes against your orange god. If Engoron had dismissed the case, you'd be recommending him for the Supreme Court.

@Lila15 Well, living in Florida, having bought and sold numerous propertys, and paid taxes on said property, I have a working knowledge of Florida real estate laws, property values, tax assesments on said propertys, and dealing with the finincial community
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@sunsporter1649 You've bought and sold properties like Mar-a-Lago? I'm dubious.

@Lila15 Just like some judge in new york

@Lila15 There's no expert that places the value of Mar Largo anywhere near what the shirtless pervert says. Would you sell your home for $200, because that's what a judge says it's worth?
