@Strictgram Yes, you do repeat the same garbage over and over. Glad you recognized that, given that you’re a sumoroniKKK, perverted, child abusing Reich-Wing apologist for violent insurrection, who also owes her allegiance to Russia and cosplays as a “patriot”.

Strictgram · 70-79, C
@SevIsPamprinYouAlways Amazing you can type in a straightjacket. Or maybe you get a pass from the mental institution where you surely reside.

I dont think any rational person has ever doubted that trump is a Russian asset. He begged Putun to interfere with the 2016 election on national TV. Republicans in Congress confirmed Putin did that. Trump hired Flynn and Manafort who both were confirmed and tried and convicted Russian agents . And 2 weeks ago another trump appointee went to prison for being a Russian agent. trump stole top secret documents to give or trade to Putin to interfer with the 2024 election. He had to give those back.....rather .they were siezed back...so now to get Putin to help him win in 2024 he is openly telling Putin.....help me win and i will let you attack our allies. Trump is flat out Putin"s buttboy.....as much of a traitor as it comes.

Once again the IDIOTS at this forum don't get it.
LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP spoke about this during his legitimate presidency (as opposed to what we have now.) He said it's time for nations on the other side of the world to PAY FOR THEIR DEFENSE. It's time for the United States to quit being the policeman of the world.
Those of you liberals here who protested EVERY war this country has engaged in since the Sixties (Vietnam, Cold War, Iraq War, etc) should be APPLAUDING this move. THIS president is giving you your wish. He is getting the United States OUT of the war business. Rich countries like South Korea, Saudi Arabia, etc are going to have to start paying their bills or our troops will be taken out of their country and brought home

HOLY SHIT, you Woodstock liberals should be cheering to the top of your lungs.

"one two three what are we fighting for...don't ask me I don't give a damn, next stop is Vietnam."

YOU'RE GETTING YOUR WISH.

Think of Putin and Russia as the belt that dad is pulling out of his belt loops if the deadbeat NATO countries don't pay their bills.

This is so funny because Putin is such a paper tiger. He's barely able to keep a pissant country like Ukraine in line. Stalin, Khrushchev or Brezhnev would be kicking sand in that pussy's face.

This is why most people have such contempt for liberal Democrats. They are truly the DUMBEST people in America.

Bee tee dubs, in that hilarious interview with Tucker Carlson, Putin said that Poland forced the Nazis to invade them. Apparently this is used in Russian propaganda, where Ukraine forced Russia to invade.
Trump is playing into this narrative where the imperialists are the good guys who have no choice but to invade other countries. Putin already laid down the foundation for invading Poland. He told his own people they need to rebuild the Russian Empire, and he's telling Americans that Poland forces people to invade them, like they did to the Nazis. If Russia takes Ukraine, Poland will be next, and Trump will defend Putin by saying NATO owed them money.
ironic hamster, who blocks me, claims
No. NATO is saved by Trump. 100%.
That's the opposite of what Trump's national security advisor says.

Bolton says Putin was waiting for Trump to withdraw the US from NATO before invading. Since Trump had threatened such withdrawal multiple times, it was a reasonable expectation on Putin's part. However, after Trump lost both the election and the Jan 6 coup attempt, Putin had no more reason to delay.
"I thought he put his foot over it, but at least he didn't withdraw then," said Bolton, who wrote in his memoir about Trump's consideration of withdrawing from NATO in 2018. "In a second Trump term, I think he may well have withdrawn from NATO. And I think Putin was waiting for that."
KunsanVeteran · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues I am not a big fan of Bolton who is very much a hawk. Having met him not long before I retired, he was then very much a fan of Quad Indicted.

I am glad to see that at least he has seen the light on QI—just like many other former members of his failed [administration!
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
I AGREE WITH HIM. Members of NATO are obligated to pay 2% of their GDP towards defense and of the 27 nations , only 5 pay it. It's like an insurance policy, if you don't, pay your dues, you don't get the benefit in an emergency.

@Reason10 There is no annual membership fee for NATO members. King Donald has you believing that it's some sort of country club. It isn't, and there are no bills to be paid.

King Donald openly and publicly tells you that he will support russian aggression, and you applaud??

He sounds like a mafia boss... Nice country you have there. Be a shame if anything happened to it.
@Reason10 Get your facts straight.

Russians dead when Stalin was in power is ≈10% of your figure.

The US population now is over 330 million, but Russia had under 200 million total...let's see...the 1939 census showed this
According to the official results, the total population of the USSR was found to be at 170,467,186.
(See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939_Soviet_census)

So, no, it wasn't even possible to lose 200 million people from the USSR starting in late 1939.

I don't believe I have ever stated any opinion on his taxes.

But you might remember his pledge to get rid of an interest-related exception for the very rich which was removed from the tax bill passed under his Admin...boring, technical, and benefitted the very rich. Odd that this one big promise would not be in that bill...
but everything he has done in business has been 100 percent legitimate.
He may be a lunatic but he has got a point and has some made European countries increase defence spending. If you buy insurance but don’t pay the premiums why do you think you are entitled to claim? It’s 2% of GDP or you are in breach of the NATO agreement, you want the cover? Pay the premiums.
meJess · F
@SomeMichGuy not a republican or a democrat. The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has requirements. You don’t get article 5 unless you adhere to them. That’s called treaty obligations, and to renege on your obligations yet expect to receive treaty benefits is not appropriate.

President Barack Obama approved the $400 million transfer, which he had announced in January as part of the Iran nuclear deal. The money was flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies as the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.

newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@jackieash There are 31 member countries, even though nobody has to join, and all are free to leave at any time., yet countries continue to seek membership (everyone would like to see the russian oblast of hungary leave).

Overall, the murderous autocrat putin and the anti-democracy narcissist trump have been good for the alliance by bringing about increased membership and widespread commitment to greater funding.
jackieash · 26-30
@newjaninev2 There may be no actual obligation to join, but it's clear from Trump and his fans that if you're not in that club, if there anything by way of threat appearing, you're going to be left at that country's "tender" mercies. Sounds very much like a protection racket.
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
So what should we do with allies who choose not to pay their bills? It was part of the deal, you promise a certian % of your GDP to defense.
Renaci · 36-40
@Subsumedpat What should the world do for the US almost defaulting on their bills every few months. It will happen if the right has their way after all. America should be thrown under the bus then according to your logic.

I live in Germany and belive me the Germans, French and a few other countries were just sitting there letting the US tax payer pay for their defence, Trump came along in 2016 and told them straight pay up and stop taking cheap Russian gas, what a turn around lol
Bumbles · 51-55, M
He’ll pull out of NATO after teasing and mocking it. It’s what America seems to want.
@Bumbles Stupid Americans *think* they want that because of the lies of Trump and those in his sphere.

A lot of the unrest we are seeing now in the world was seeded by Trump.

Removing us from NATO will cost us much more in the long run.
