Being the only nato alliance member who is actuality pulling its own weight is Poland right now. The contributions of others should be 3% of gdp to defence most of nato is not coming close
I dont think any rational person has ever doubted that trump is a Russian asset. He begged Putun to interfere with the 2016 election on national TV. Republicans in Congress confirmed Putin did that. Trump hired Flynn and Manafort who both were confirmed and tried and convicted Russian agents . And 2 weeks ago another trump appointee went to prison for being a Russian agent. trump stole top secret documents to give or trade to Putin to interfer with the 2024 election. He had to give those back.....rather .they were siezed back...so now to get Putin to help him win in 2024 he is openly telling Putin.....help me win and i will let you attack our allies. Trump is flat out Putin"s buttboy.....as much of a traitor as it comes.
@Strictgram Yes, you do repeat the same garbage over and over. Glad you recognized that, given that you’re a sumoroniKKK, perverted, child abusing Reich-Wing apologist for violent insurrection, who also owes her allegiance to Russia and cosplays as a “patriot”.
Trump stood before us and the world in Helsinki, and sided with war criminal Putin, over our allies and intel agencies. He touted Putin as a genius for invading Ukraine.
he calls the fallen and wounded veterans Losers
After he said he would NEVER negotiate with the Taliban? he MADE the deal, With the Taliban, to leave,,
we are in peril from this malignant Narcissist that kind of person would burn our nation down, if we don't let him do whatever he wants
@Reason10 name calling is not a good sign, I am guessing that your names comes from the Idea reason : a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event. not reason: the power of the mind to think, understand, and form judgments by a process of logic.
to lie,, means to transmit facts, one KNOWS are not correct
if I am wrong,, show me,, I do not intend to deceive. do the check, take each of these and look for the sources BONUS if you find credible evidence not just gainsaying.

he calls the fallen and wounded veterans Losers on video,, he said this about John McCaine.

February 2020, Trump announced that there was a deal. The basic contours: The United States was to get out of Afghanistan in 14 months and, in exchange, the Taliban agreed not to let Afghanistan become a haven for terrorists and to stop attacking U.S. service members.Aug 26, 2021
and according to every state government, Including those that did special investigations Mr Biden was duly elected
A nice picture with his finger in donnie’s ass*. The Geneva Convention must be foreign to you or at least it’s basic concepts of not targeting civilians during war and oh yes let’s not forget not to rape the women!
I AGREE WITH HIM. Members of NATO are obligated to pay 2% of their GDP towards defense and of the 27 nations , only 5 pay it. It's like an insurance policy, if you don't, pay your dues, you don't get the benefit in an emergency.

Here's a breakdown of each country's contribution, based on 2016 figures provided by NATO:
Bee tee dubs, in that hilarious interview with Tucker Carlson, Putin said that Poland forced the Nazis to invade them. Apparently this is used in Russian propaganda, where Ukraine forced Russia to invade. Trump is playing into this narrative where the imperialists are the good guys who have no choice but to invade other countries. Putin already laid down the foundation for invading Poland. He told his own people they need to rebuild the Russian Empire, and he's telling Americans that Poland forces people to invade them, like they did to the Nazis. If Russia takes Ukraine, Poland will be next, and Trump will defend Putin by saying NATO owed them money.
That's the opposite of what Trump's national security advisor says.
Bolton says Putin was waiting for Trump to withdraw the US from NATO before invading. Since Trump had threatened such withdrawal multiple times, it was a reasonable expectation on Putin's part. However, after Trump lost both the election and the Jan 6 coup attempt, Putin had no more reason to delay.
"I thought he put his foot over it, but at least he didn't withdraw then," said Bolton, who wrote in his memoir about Trump's consideration of withdrawing from NATO in 2018. "In a second Trump term, I think he may well have withdrawn from NATO. And I think Putin was waiting for that."
@ElwoodBlues I am not a big fan of Bolton who is very much a hawk. Having met him not long before I retired, he was then very much a fan of Quad Indicted.
I am glad to see that at least he has seen the light on QI—just like many other former members of his failed [administration!
I don’t agree with Trump and his opinion on NATO . I do believe that all the countries should put the 2% into their defense budget. I think NATO is a good thing.
@JSul3 As any typical liberal you project so much on others that it's pointless to respond. This response alone is a high plateau on the mountain of pointlessness.
@Reason10 How many times has Trump filed for bankruptcy? How many times has he settled court cases? How much money has he taken from his cult members to pay his legal fees?
Now Laura Trump is calling for the RNC to give all their $$$ to Trump.
2) I guess you haven't paid attention to a long line of craftsmen, lawyers, etc., whom he has stiffed.
3) And you should look up what "bankruptcy" means and how many times he's gone through it.
He may not pay billions in taxes like you think he should,
I don't believe I have ever stated any opinion on his taxes.
But you might remember his pledge to get rid of an interest-related exception for the very rich which was removed from the tax bill passed under his Admin...boring, technical, and benefitted the very rich. Odd that this one big promise would not be in that bill...
but everything he has done in business has been 100 percent legitimate.
LMAO
1) How could you know this?
2) I guess you are unaware that his business was found guilty of fraud a long time ago, and *he* has been found guilty of it, as well.
@KunsanVeteran I wouldn't lock Biden up, even though he is a traitor. Just remove him from office before he does any more damage. Educated people know that Trump is the best president in the history of America
@IronHamster unlike Russia/ Putin, we tend not to invade for such purposes i DID say tend, as Saddam certainty qualified, but only after invading his neighbors.. I don't think there is any chance of that and the leader of Canada has no apparent interest in overthrowing his own government
@Reason10 There is no annual membership fee for NATO members. King Donald has you believing that it's some sort of country club. It isn't, and there are no bills to be paid.
King Donald openly and publicly tells you that he will support russian aggression, and you applaud??
He sounds like a mafia boss... Nice country you have there. Be a shame if anything happened to it.
He may be a lunatic but he has got a point and has some made European countries increase defence spending. If you buy insurance but don’t pay the premiums why do you think you are entitled to claim? It’s 2% of GDP or you are in breach of the NATO agreement, you want the cover? Pay the premiums.
@SomeMichGuy not a republican or a democrat. The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has requirements. You don’t get article 5 unless you adhere to them. That’s called treaty obligations, and to renege on your obligations yet expect to receive treaty benefits is not appropriate.
@Subsumedpat What should the world do for the US almost defaulting on their bills every few months. It will happen if the right has their way after all. America should be thrown under the bus then according to your logic.
Putin invaded a sovereign nation. If you research, Putin has desired to reclaim lost lands after the Soviet Union collapsed. Today, your Orange Messiah Trump won't back NATO allies if Putin attacks them.
The $$$ to Iran was their money for weapons purchased that were never delivered by the leader of arms sales in the world....aka USA. You pay for something and don't receive it, you get your money back.

@Reason10 President Barack Obama approved the $400 million transfer, which he had announced in January as part of the Iran nuclear deal. The money was flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies as the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.
@autumngirl27 There are 31 member countries, even though nobody has to join, and all are free to leave at any time., yet countries continue to seek membership (everyone would like to see the russian oblast of hungary leave).
Overall, the murderous autocrat putin and the anti-democracy narcissist trump have been good for the alliance by bringing about increased membership and widespread commitment to greater funding.
@newjaninev2 There may be no actual obligation to join, but it's clear from Trump and his fans that if you're not in that club, if there anything by way of threat appearing, you're going to be left at that country's "tender" mercies. Sounds very much like a protection racket.
I live in Germany and belive me the Germans, French and a few other countries were just sitting there letting the US tax payer pay for their defence, Trump came along in 2016 and told them straight pay up and stop taking cheap Russian gas, what a turn around lol
NATO throws life on earth and peace under the bus. American people are disdainfully ignoring everyone like me that might complain. So you roll into the next 9-11 not knowing what makes us hate. You.
@Northwest True. Kim Jong-Un isn't terribly smart, but he is smart enough to not start a war that would alienate North Korea from the entire world. Though I do think at one point, Putin was really smart and strong. Maybe his health problems changed that.
Once again the IDIOTS at this forum don't get it. LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP spoke about this during his legitimate presidency (as opposed to what we have now.) He said it's time for nations on the other side of the world to PAY FOR THEIR DEFENSE. It's time for the United States to quit being the policeman of the world. Those of you liberals here who protested EVERY war this country has engaged in since the Sixties (Vietnam, Cold War, Iraq War, etc) should be APPLAUDING this move. THIS president is giving you your wish. He is getting the United States OUT of the war business. Rich countries like South Korea, Saudi Arabia, etc are going to have to start paying their bills or our troops will be taken out of their country and brought home
HOLY SHIT, you Woodstock liberals should be cheering to the top of your lungs.
"one two three what are we fighting for...don't ask me I don't give a damn, next stop is Vietnam."
YOU'RE GETTING YOUR WISH.
Think of Putin and Russia as the belt that dad is pulling out of his belt loops if the deadbeat NATO countries don't pay their bills.
This is so funny because Putin is such a paper tiger. He's barely able to keep a pissant country like Ukraine in line. Stalin, Khrushchev or Brezhnev would be kicking sand in that pussy's face.
This is why most people have such contempt for liberal Democrats. They are truly the DUMBEST people in America.
